Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy governs how mentorship tee time sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled through the OnCourse Mentors platform.
1. Purpose of This Policy
OnCourse Mentors connects mentors and mentees for in-person mentorship sessions that take place during golf tee times.
Because these sessions involve coordination between two individuals and golf course tee time reservations, cancellations can impact both participants.
This policy establishes clear expectations for cancelling or rescheduling sessions.
2. Standard Cancellation Window
Mentors and mentees may cancel a scheduled mentorship session up to 72 hours (3 days) before the scheduled tee time without penalty.
Cancellations made within this window allow both parties reasonable time to adjust their schedules.
3. Late Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled tee time may be considered a late cancellation.
Late cancellations may result in platform actions including:
- Warnings
- Temporary suspension from booking
- Marketplace access restrictions
- Additional enforcement actions if repeated
OnCourse Mentors reserves the right to evaluate late cancellations on a case-by-case basis.
4. Mentor No-Shows
Mentors who fail to attend a scheduled tee time without cancelling may be charged a $60 no-show fee.
A no-show may be determined when:
- A mentee reports that the mentor did not attend the tee time; or
- The mentor fails to check in through the Platform when required.
The no-show fee may be charged to the payment method on file.
Mentors may contact support to dispute a no-show determination. Disputes are reviewed by OnCourse Mentors staff.
Repeated no-shows may result in removal from the platform.
5. Mentee No-Shows
Mentees who fail to attend a scheduled tee time may face enforcement actions including:
- Warnings
- Temporary suspension
- Booking restrictions
- Account termination for repeated violations
OnCourse Mentors reserves discretion when reviewing no-show reports.
6. Weather and Course Closures
Golf courses may cancel tee times due to weather or course conditions.
If a tee time is cancelled by the golf course:
- The mentorship session may be rescheduled by the participants if both agree.
- No platform penalties will apply.
Any refunds related to tee time payments must be handled directly with the golf course.
OnCourse Mentors does not process tee time payments.
7. Emergency Situations
OnCourse Mentors understands that emergencies may occur.
In certain circumstances, late cancellations may be excused when supported by reasonable documentation or explanation.
All decisions regarding exceptions are made at the sole discretion of OnCourse Mentors.
8. Abuse of Cancellation Policy
Repeated late cancellations or scheduling abuse may result in:
- Temporary booking suspension
- Removal from the marketplace
- Account termination
The goal of this policy is to maintain a reliable mentorship experience for all users.
9. Policy Updates
OnCourse Mentors may update this Cancellation Policy at any time.
Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
